At this time, our apps do not offer a way to reset or transfer nicknames. This is because the nickname system is separate from any account-based login system, such as Apple Sign In, and is tied directly to the device.

If you use the Google+ features that display leaderboards and achievements, you may be able to sign in with your existing credentials. In some cases, if your nickname was previously associated with your Google+ profile, it may automatically reappear after signing in.

If you still have access to your old device and the app is installed there, another option may be available. You can change the nickname on the old device, which will free up the original nickname in our system. Once the change has been processed, you can then attempt to register that nickname on your new device.
