Unlock new titles by earning after winning a game. After tapping “Play” from the Play Menu, the Player is presented with the Leagues Hub. This screen contains information about the player’s current tier and rank on the leaderboard and appears when “New Game” is tapped on the Play Menu (except for the FTUE game). Competitive games cannot be forfeited; however, they can be saved and resumed for later. When the hub is opened without a game in progress, the button says “Play”. When the hub is opened with a game in progress, the button says “Resume”. The first time the screen is opened, the “How to Play'' panels are automatically displayed. At the top of the hub, there is an “Info” button which opens the Info Panel; at the bottom, there is a “Play” or “Resume” button which starts or resumes a League Game when tapped. Tapping the “Close” button on the bottom closes the hub screen.

A player’s League Rating is represented as a number and works similarly to Matchmaking Rating (MMR). This number is increased after a game is completed on the Game Results screen. As the player’s League Rating goes up, their League Tier is upgraded. The player’s rating starts at 0 and starts earning and losing League Points after the FTUE (on their second game).

In Crazy Eights, the following point values are awarded for each placement at the end of a game:

• 1st Place — plus 4 points

• 2nd Place — plus 3 points

• 3rd Place — plus 2 points

• 4th Place — plus 1 point
