Normal Bricks
Normal Bricks are stationary and include a counter on them that show the bricks hit count. The hit count decreases each time the brick is hit by a ball. When the hit count reaches zero the brick is destroyed.
Normal Brick Types:
Square - The base unit of every brick breaker it is exactly what it sounds like
Rectangle - A longer square in the horizontal direction, a rectangle will be 2x the size of a square
Right Triangle - appears in one of 4 possible orientations when on the screen
Special Bricks
Special Bricks appear on specific Journeys and bring with them their own set of rules that are unique to the special brick type.
Special Brick Types:
Round - These bricks are circular in shape and create a special challenge when trying to get the ricochet angle correct.
[Screenshot Needed] Rotating - Rotating bricks are rectangular bricks that rotate on their center in a clockwise motion. Rotation is an action that is applied to rectangular bricks that causes them to rotate on their center in a clockwise motion. When a ball hits a rotating brick, it will affect the ball’s trajectory based on the angle of the rotating block and the path of the ball. Rotating bricks may also be indestructible. Rotating bricks do not move down a line with other bricks
Power Up Bricks
Power-Up Bricks are special bricks that do something when they are destroyed. Like normal bricks they have a counter on them that counts down for each time they are hit.
Power-Up Types:
Row Clear - immediately upon being destroyed, this brick will clear all bricks on the same row as the brick
Column Clear - immediately upon being destroyed, this brick will clear all bricks on the same column as the brick
Row & Column Clear - immediately upon being destroyed, this brick will clear all bricks on both the same column and row as the brick
