Domino
One of the pieces, or tiles, in a set of dominoes. Also used to describe when a player plays the final tile in their hand.

Boneyard
A group of remaining dominoes that were not dealt out. Drawn from when players need playable tiles.

Hand
The dominoes held by a player during a round of play. Players start each game with seven tiles in their hand.

Pips
Dots that are present on either end of a domino that represent numerical values.

Hand Value
The sum total of all pips in a player’s hand.

Spinner
A double in the layout may be played on both sides and both ends. Only the first double played is a spinner. The spinner is exclusive to the All Fives gamemode.

Double Domino
A tile with the same value on both sides.

Arm
A row of connected dominoes set in a line.

Board Total
The sum of all the pip values at the ends of each arm.

Block Victory
If no player is able to make a play or draw from the boneyard and all players are still holding tiles in their hand, the game is said to be "blocked". The player with the lowest total hand value is declared the winner.

Domino Victory
When a person is the first to play the last tile in their hand, they are said to have "dominoed out".

Dominoer
The person playing the last remaining domino in their hand.

Midround Victory
Can occur during All Fives when a player hits the point total required to win the game during the round as opposed to at the end of it.
