If your opponent knocks and you have less Deadwood than them, you win the round and get points equal to the difference in the remaining Deadwood and 25 bonus points (or 10 bonus points, depending on your Settings) for undercutting; likewise, if you knock and your opponent has less Deadwood than you, they win the round and get the bonus for undercutting.
