After the Upcard step, players take turns; a normal turn consists of two parts: drawing and discarding. A player must begin their turn by taking one card from either the top of the Stock Pile or the top card on the Discard Pile. At the end of a turn, a player must discard a card (which they did not take from the Discard Pile) to the top of the Discard Pile.
