Aces automatically go to the bottom of the column (top of the screen) when they are drawn from the Stock Pile. When an Ace is already present in a column, the new Ace lands on top of the older Ace (and the older Ace stays on the bottom of the column). This allows you to freely use the new Ace and prevents columns from being blocked by Aces.
