Get rid of low cards first: Play your lowest non-♥️ cards in the early tricks that will likely not have any points in them. Save you high cards for the later tricks containing points that you must win.
Low Hearts are dangerous: Don’t attempt to shoot the moon if you have low ♥️ unless you have many high ♥️. The only time you can play a low ♥️ and still shoot the moon is if you lead the low ♥️ after all the higher harts have been played,
Dominate one suite: It is easier to shoot the moon when you have 6 or more cards of the same suite including several face cards. Don’t pass any cards from this suite even if they are low cards.
