To restore an app icon on an iOS device, you can unhide the app from the app library:
- Swipe left on the Home Screen to access the App Library
- Scroll down to the Hidden folder
- Authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode
- Touch and hold the app in the Hidden folder
- Tap Add to Home Screen
- Tap Unhide App
