A normal deck of playing cards (with the Jokers removed) is shuffled into seven columns of varying cards amounts are placed vertically into columns. Each card in the columns overlap the previous, with the last card being fully visible thus making it available for play.

The remaining cards are dealt face down in the Stockpile with the top card flipped up to form the beginning of the discard pile.

After the game is set up, the objective is to completely clear all of the columns before running out of cards in the stockpile. To remove a card it must be fully uncovered in the column and matched to a card 1 “rank” away in value from the top card of the discard pile. For example, if the top card of the discard pile is a ‘6’, you can remove and discard a ‘5 or a ‘7’.  In this game, Kings and Aces are 1 rank away from each other.

If no moves are available via the columns or discard pile, the top most face down stockpile card can be flipped over and placed atop the discard pile to bring it into play. If the stockpile is out of cards you will need to undo and try an alternate solution, redeal, or start a new game.

If you feel you have made an error, you can use an ‘undo’ button at the bottom right of the screen to rank back through your previous actions.

Once all columns are cleared, you have won the deal.
