Brain Training Events challenge you to gain points that focus on different areas of brain training. You will gain Memory points (for Brain Training Events) and Game points (By playing normal deals). Your progress is tracked on the Brain Training Event Page.

  • Badges are earned when Card and Memory meters are full (filling both earns the next badge)
  • The event is complete once you earn all 4 badges (filling both bars 4 times)

You can earn 4 Card Points per FreeCell deal and 12 Memory Points per Memory deal.

To view your progress, choose Events from the Play Menu, then select the Brain Training event.

  • Card is on the left, which measures how many points have been earned toward the event goal by playing FreeCell
  • Memory is on the right, which measures how many points have been earned toward the event goal by playing Memory
  • Filling the Card and Memory Bars earns a badge (which can be upgraded afterward
    • If a single side of the brain is filled before the other, additional points cannot be earned until both sides are full
    • Once the points are converted into a badge, additional points can be earned for Card and Memory
  • The orange “Card” and “Memory” Titles and Icons are tappable
    • Tapping “Card” Closes the Event Hub and brings you back to the Playfield
    • Tapping “Memory” functions exactly like tapping the “Play Memory” button on the bottom of the screen
  • The badge is earned after the first time both Card/Memory are filled
    • The badge can then be upgraded 3 times with subsequent fills (totaling 4 versions of the badge)
    • The previous badges look smaller, the current badge earned looks larger, and the next badge is a silhouette

 

Normal Games (Card)

Players earn progress toward the Brain Training Event while playing FreeCell deals (Winning, Random, and Numbered deals). The event points earned occur upon placing specific cards (with Card Point icons on them) in the foundation during the round.

One Card Point is earned when a card with a Card Point icon on it is placed in the foundation

A maximum of 4 points can be earned per FreeCell deal

Memory Game (Memory)

“Memory” is a mini-game that is available to be played during the Brain Training Event; it is accessed via the Event Page and can be played an unlimited number of times during the event. The mini-game itself involves flipping cards over to reveal matches.

  • At the start of the game, all cards are dealt face down so the game can begin
  • The User plays the game by tapping on cards to flip them over with the intent of making matches
    • The first card that is tapped is flipped so the card face is revealed
    • The second card that is tapped is flipped so the card face is revealed
    • If the first and second card are a match, they remain face-up and are “completed”
    • If the first and second card do NOT match, they are turned face-down to be matched in the future
    • One Memory Point is earned for each match successfully made during the game
