Goal

The goal of Blackjack is to collect cards that total more points than the dealer, without going over 21.

Card Values

Cards of rank 2 through 10 are valued according to their face value. All face cards are 10 points. Aces can be worth either 1 or 11 points. Blackjack is the highest hand totaling 21 and is made of an Ace and any 10-point card.

Betting

You can change your bet by touching any of the chips on the table. These chips will have varying denominations based on the table that is currently selected. You can reset your bet by touching the betting circle. Each table has a table minimum and a table maximum.

Play

Play begins by placing a bet in the betting circle and pressing deal. The dealer will give you and himself two cards. One dealer card is dealt face up and the other face down. You play first and have several choices to make in order to bring your hand to 21. Once done, the dealer will complete his hand and then pay or collect your bet. The dealer has no choices to make in the play of his hand. He must simply hit until he reaches at least 17 or until he busts by going over 21.

Payout

A winning hand is when your total is more than the dealer and the payout is 1:1. If you have a Blackjack and the dealer does not, the payout is 3:2. A hand totaling more than 21 is called a BUST and is an automatic loss. If you and the dealer tie, the bet is a PUSH and the wager is returned. The exception to the PUSH rule is if the dealer has Blackjack. You will lose your wager unless you also have a Blackjack, even if your hand totals 21.
